It’s easy to assume that no hotel is perfect. So naturally, I went into The Ritz-Carlton expecting to find at least a few flaws.
Surprisingly, that turned out to be harder than expected.

The service was nearly flawless. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, always present but never overwhelming. It’s a delicate balance, and The Ritz-Carlton seems to have mastered it.
The room exceeded expectations as well. Everything felt intentional—from the layout to the smallest design details. Comfort was clearly a priority, but without sacrificing style.
Dining also lived up to the hype. The quality of ingredients, the presentation, and the overall execution reflected a high level of professionalism.
But does that mean The Ritz-Carlton is perfect? Not exactly.
The biggest drawback is the price. For many travelers, the cost can be difficult to justify. Additionally, some guests may find the experience slightly predictable, lacking the uniqueness of more boutique properties.
Still, these are minor criticisms in an otherwise exceptional experience.
If you’re looking for a hotel that delivers exactly what it promises—without surprises—The Ritz-Carlton is hard to beat.
